KCA Continuing Education Scholarship

The Kentucky Council on Archives (KCA) invites applications for the Continuing Education Scholarship. The scholarship is open to professional archivists, students, and para-professionals who seek funds to pursue a continuing education or professional development opportunity both within the Commonwealth and outside it, virtual or in-person. 

This year’s scholarship consists of a 1-year (2026-2027) KCA membership and $315. The scholarship can be used to offset registration, lodging, and/or travel expenses related to an archival educational or professional development opportunity. The scholarship is open to any person engaged in archival work in Kentucky; applicants are not required to be members of KCA. 

Awardees are required to submit a photograph and write about their experience for publication in the KCA's newsletter within 12 months of receiving the scholarship.

To apply for the Scholarship Award, please fill out and submit the application form by March 20, 2026.
