No Archives Unawares, Part 1:
Disaster Planning and Response
In the last few years, Kentucky arts and culture organizations that steward the state’s cultural heritage have faced recovery from significant natural disasters. Although no one can ever be completely prepared, every archives can become more aware of the emergency management resources and assistance that are available. For the Kentucky Council on Archives spring 2023 meeting at the Perry County Public Library in Hazard, Kentucky, three panels of national and local experts and responders will share information about, experiences of, and lessons learned from natural disaster response and recovery. Plan to join us on Friday, May 19, 2023!
